IMP-FC-GPN

IMP-FC-GPN is a remote reading and a remote control device and a data logger with integrated GPRS/GSM/SMS modem, collected in one case and installable in hazardous area, particularly in the zone classified as Zone 1. Its purpose is the processing and control of pressure, temperature, volume of gas and digital signal.
The device is compliant with UNI/TR 11631:2016 norm.
IMP-FC GPN uses two different batteries: one to communicate and the other to measure.
Battery life is over 4 years for both and they can be replaced independently from one another.
Optionally it is possible to achieve an 8-year autonomy using enhanced battery packs.
The remaining life time can be viewed on the display or with ActFull_2010 locally or remotely.
When the remaining charge is 10% the low-battery alarm is activated.
Pressure and temperature sensors are integrated and are installable in the zone classified as Zone 0.
IMP-FC-GPN can be connected to a meter, to measure the gas volume in the zone classified as Zone 0.
It has 3 digital inputs to acquire alarms from the field in the zone classified as Zone 0, for example:

  • mechanical latch
  • filter clogging
  • tampering
  • door opening


MEASUREMENT ACQUISITION
Pressure (P)

  • Up to 2 pressure transducers with the full scale values and precision indicated in the technical specifications.
  • Data is acquired every 30 seconds.
Temperature (T)
  • PT1000 4-wire temperature probe with the full scale values and precision indicated in the technical specifications.
  • Data is acquired every 30 seconds.
Volume (V)
  • 1 low frequency input. The received impulses are multiplied by the impulse weight.
Digital Input
  • 3 state inputs from clean contact.
PARAMETERS DISPLAY
The parameters are displayed on the local backlit display.

DATA STORAGE
The acquired and calculated parameters are stored in a dedicated non-volatile temporal registration section (which stores data even in the absence of power) for a period of 62 days. Among others, the following parameters are stored:
  • Daily Maximum, Minimum and average values of the gas input pressure for 2 months
  • Daily Maximum, Minimum and average values of the gas output pressure for 2 months
  • Daily Maximum, Minimum and average values of the gas temperature for 2 months
  • Half Hourly traces of the gas input pressure and diagnostic for 2 months
  • Half Hourly traces of the gas output pressure and diagnostic for 2 months
  • Half Hourly traces of the gas temperature and diagnostic for 2 months
  • Hourly traces of the gas volume and diagnostic for 2 months
  • Alarm conditions
  • 2 minute traces of the last 36 samples before the alarm acquisition (last 72 minutes before the alarms)

COMMUNICATION AND CONFIGURATION SOFTWARE
IMP-FC GPN is equipped with two local serial communication ports, one optic IEC 62056-21 (ex IEC 1107) and one RS232 with Cannon 9-pin female connector and with a modem GPRS/GSM/SMS for remote communication. All communication ports use the CTR protocol as stated in the UNI-TS11291 regulation, using encription of the data. It is possible program/configure IMP-FC GPN using these ports or remotly. The software proposed by D&D is ActFull_2010, which allows these programmings both from local and remote. Refer to software document for further information.

CONFIGURATION
Using configuration tool, or remotly, it is possible to set the alarm thresholds for each pressure and temperature measures.

ANTENNA
IMP-FC GPN uses an integrated dual-band GSM antenna. It is possible to connect a certified external antenna with 2.5 or 4 meter cable lenght.
